Channa E. Borman, Attorney at Law

Ms. Borman has been practicing law since 1994.  She came to College Station soon after graduating from Texas Tech University School of Law where she graduated cum laude, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University in December of 1990, where she finished magna cum laude.  As you can tell, Ms. Borman strives for excellence and believes that anyone can accomplish her dreams with determination and perseverance.

Ms. Borman has been involved in many organizations, on both the local and state levels.  She is currently immediate past president of the Brazos Valley Young Lawyers Association.  Before becoming president in 1997, she served a vice-president and was the secretary from 1996 to 1997.  Ms. Borman served as the Social Committee Chair of the Brazos County Bar Association from 1996 to 2000.  Ms. Borman was also active on the Board of Directors of the Texas Young Lawyers Association from 1998 through 2000 and was one of two nominees for President-Elect of the Texas Young Lawyers Association in 2000.  She ran a state-wide campaign and met many wonderful people in Texas.  She recalls the experience as one that she will never forget and was humbled by being nominated.

Ms. Borman gives back to the community in many ways.  The following is a small list of the many programs to which she devotes her time and energy:

Ms. Borman also teaches in the paralegal program at the Bryan Campus of Blinn College.  Her classes are Legal Research, Legal Writing and Family Law.
